The goal of the Uniontown Area School District Elementary Student Recognition Program is to acknowledge the positive efforts of elementary students. Acknowledgement of positive behavior is an effective means of promoting student success and confidence.

Two Levels of Achievement
1. Raider Excellence Award (6 points)
2. Student Recognition Award (3-5 points)

Consistent Standards
Fair Selection

Students are eligible to receive the awards every quarter, up to four times a year.

Qualifying Categories
1. Attendance
Excellence: No absences - 2 points
Recognition: No more than two absences - 1 point
2. Citizenship and Work Habits
Excellence: Outstanding - 2 points
Recognition: Satisfactory - 1 point
3. Positive Behavior
Excellence: Outstanding (45 of 45 days) or (30 of 30 days) - 2 points
Recognition: Satisfactory (39 of 45 days) or (26 of 30 days) - 1 point
Teacher judgment may substitute for day count
